She is juggling multiple roles and wears different hats everyday. She feels absolutely burnt out. She neglects self-care, believing it’s a luxury she can’t afford. Her days are consumed with endless tasks, leaving her depleted and unable to prioritise herself. Between caring for her partner, her kids and the house she doesn’t have time. Her mornings are busy with a todo list that she never gets through. Her afternoons are occupied with coordinating her children’s after school practices, playdates and school work. Her evenings have promising plans to enjoy an evening with her partner or friends, but she feels depleted by evening and all plans disappear.
Hana tries to energize herself by sleeping in on the weekends. Every couple of weeks she rewards herself by getting a massage or a beauty treatment. This gives her a bout of energy then a few days later she feels burnout again. Hana is on overdrive and her body is telling her to stop. She feels lost, she doesn’t know how to energize herself to keep up with the daily grind of the modern world.
